Happy 4th of July!

We finally talked my parents into bringing their RV up for a bit. They came up for a week on Memorial Day weekend and camped at Monte Ne. It is only about 2 miles from our boat slip so it was great! They brought Patrick (my nephew) so the kids were excited about that! They camped Friday night with my parents and Nate and I came and boated and camped Saturday night. We went in the boat on Saturday and Sunday and tubed and swam. The kids loved it. We met up with our old Fayetteville neighbors, Brad and Keverly, who have a party barge. It was so fun getting to see Eli, Brad and Keverly and catching up with them! My parents enjoyed the boat too! The weather was absolutely fantastic!!!

More boating!

We finally got to go boating again. The weather has been yucky lately, but last weekend was great. We actually broke out the tube! I was nervous, but the kids did fine! It is a nice tube that you can sit in...much different from when I tubed!!

Aida had her end of year Bugz performance....the same program Henry had last year! It was still tearful the second time around! They got these cute dog tags for a gift after the performance.

Kendrick Fincher Youth Run and 5K

CCF Brands (my work) was one of the sponsors of the Kendrick Fincher Youth Run and 5K. Nate ran the 5K and Henry did the Youth run which was a 1/2 mile. It was at 7:30 on a Saturday morning and it was rainy! We had fun anyway! Here is Henry crossing the finish line! He did a great job!

Darren McFadden was there to sign autographs after the run. Here we are getting his autograph. He is a former Razorback and now plays for the Oakland Raiders.

Nate's New Baby

Well, it has been about a year now that Nate has wanted a boat. He finally found a used Crownline in Greers Ferry and bought it. It is 21 feet long and it is very nice. We went out on it the past two days and had fun. The kids like everything but their life jackets, but they HAVE to wear them. It isn't warm enough yet to ski or tube, but it was nice to have a picnic on the boat and ride around Beaver Lake. We have a boat slip which is nice, so we don't have to launch the boat each time we go out. Some of the pics are a bit blurry because I had to use Nate's phone the first day. Sunday I brought the camera along, so they are a lot clear. We are ready for a summer of fun on our new boat!!

On Saturday, it was a bit chilly, so Aida sat on the floor for a bit to block the wind. She also wore Henry's hat!

Aida's snaggle ...again

Aida lost her other top tooth at school during PE! They gave her a little tiny plastic treasure chest to put her tooth in. Now she is really snaggle-toothed!
