Pirate Patrick and Charlotte Kitty

We put out our Halloween decor early. Nate bought some new items this year...All spooky...but Charlotte isn't afraid! Henry named this poor pirate Patrick!

This Mummy was howling at 3 am the other night! It howls when there is motion and the wind did the trick. I heard it and thought - What is that noise? I figured it out and tried to disconnect it and it still howled! Spoooooky!!! Henry named him Spooky appropriately!

Tail Gator School Fundraiser

Central Park had their annual "Tail Gator" fundraiser. The kids had a great time again this year.

Eli Strikes Again!

We had our old Fayetteville neighbors over for burgers on Saturday. It was so much fun to catch up with Brad, Keverly and Eli. The kids had a blast playing! It was like we were still neighbors!

Early Halloween Cupcakes

I made an impulse purchase at Target the other day....Halloween cupcake mix! We made these one day after school and the kids kept asking why we were making Halloween cupcakes so early! I guess just something to do after school! They had fun and made a huge mess. We passed these out to neighbor kids after we decorated them.

Aida's First Field Trip

Aida had her first field trip last Friday. Her class went to see a musical production of Beauty and the Beast. It was a good performance put on by kids aged 3 to 18! I was one of the chaperones for her class. It was fun to get to go somewhere with Aida's class and meet some of her classmates.

This little girl is in her class....Melia...She was really sweet.

I had to get a shot of this....since Henry and Aida rarely hug!

School Apple Project

Aida had to make an apple creature for their unit on apples at school this week. Nate thought up a butterfly (which happens to be Mrs. Machan's favorite thing). Aida painted most of it and put on the eyes and nose. Nate and I helped with the antennae and wings. It turned out sooo cute.

We have had this zucchini forever that was given to Nate by an employee...Henry made good use of it. This is supposed to be Squidword from Sponge Bob...Henry didn't have to do this for homework, but wanted to do a craft like Aida.

This picture has nothing to do with the apple project, but Henry's hair looked cute after his bath, so I took a quick shot.

Hog and Flag Football

The first Razorback home game was September 19. We played Georgia and lost, but scored the most points against the Dogs since the 1970s. Henry had his second flag football game and made 11 tackles!! He was the defensive player of the game!

We tailgate at Leverett Elementary which is very close the the stadium. It was a bit chilly for the first home game but at least the rain stayed away!

I found my shirt online and loved it because it said Arkansas on the back!

Nate had a fun time reminiscing with old Frat brothers.

Henry had team pictures today. They are so cute!

First Flag Football Game

Henry had his first Upward Flag Football game today. His team name is the Coyotes. They played the Bulldogs. Henry got a first down and made a tackle (pulling a flag). It was a fun game and nice weather for it too!
Ready to go to the game
Henry wanted me to get a shot of him throwing the football up, but I was too slow.

Snaggle tooth ready to make his debut as a football star...

The new Gatorade Spokeswoman

What a cutie...Aida needed to go potty, but when she saw the port-a-potty, she opted to hold it! That's my girl!

The boys all get a star after the games. Each color of star means something. Henry got a blue star for effort. They place the stars on their flags.

Teeth, Prissy and Goggles

I have put three different posts into one, and they are not in the least related...Henry has lost a lot of teeth lately, Prissy looks pitiful - although she is spoiled rotten - Aida and Kate in goggles...

First Day of School

August 19th has come and gone...We are in full swing now with school happenings! It is so strange having two munchkins in school! They are doing well. They ride the bus home and love it since a lot of their friends ride home too. We are gearing up for the fall book fair, school pictures and the "Tail Gator" event.

Cookin' Bacon with Daddy

The boys in our family cooked up some Farmland bacon on a Saturday morning. Henry has learned how to turn the bacon with the tongs, thanks to the PORK MASTER of a Dad that he has! They cooked it in their undies!

Aida's 5th

Aida had a fabulous girls party for her 5th birthday in July. She had nine little girls over and they each brought their favorite doll. We played games that related to dolls! It was a lot of fun!
