Nate's New Baby

Well, it has been about a year now that Nate has wanted a boat. He finally found a used Crownline in Greers Ferry and bought it. It is 21 feet long and it is very nice. We went out on it the past two days and had fun. The kids like everything but their life jackets, but they HAVE to wear them. It isn't warm enough yet to ski or tube, but it was nice to have a picnic on the boat and ride around Beaver Lake. We have a boat slip which is nice, so we don't have to launch the boat each time we go out. Some of the pics are a bit blurry because I had to use Nate's phone the first day. Sunday I brought the camera along, so they are a lot clear. We are ready for a summer of fun on our new boat!!

The back part of the boat has a nice bench that curves around so we have plenty of room.

On Saturday, it was a bit chilly, so Aida sat on the floor for a bit to block the wind. She also wore Henry's hat!

Aida's snaggle ...again

Aida lost her other top tooth at school during PE! They gave her a little tiny plastic treasure chest to put her tooth in. Now she is really snaggle-toothed!

Aida lost her first big top tooth!

Aida has had a really loose tooth for a LONG time. She has been afraid to pull and it was ridiculously loose!! She put a piece of gum in her mouth and it fell out on the carpet! She didn't have to pull it at all!

Funeral for Zippy

Well, Zippy the fish bit the dust on Tuesday. He was the all gold colored fish. Henry was sad for all of about 5 minutes. Ziggy is still alive. Me, Henry and Aida watched Zippy swirl around in the toilet!

Fish and 100 Days

Henry got two fish. I don't know why he decided he needed fish. This was he and Nate's project. I hope they live longer than a week! Zippy is the bright orange one and Ziggy is the red and white fish. Henry is proud of them.

Aida hopefully will have her 100th day of Kindergarten soon! They have had so many snow days, they have had to push it back over and over. They had to do a homework project using 100 items. We used her 100 sight words instead of something like cereal. I wrote them all on cards and Aida helped cut and color them and then we glued them into the shape of a flower on a poster board!

Snow!

It snowed about 7 inches here. The kids have had a blast. We took them sledding in the neighborhood. We got kicked off the golf course, but found some great hills around the tennis courts. We have enjoyed the snow, but not that school has been out again!!!
